Phase II of DSP-Solar Project Expansion!

Following the successful completion of Phase I of the 750 kW Solar Project, the DSP-Solar Initiative is moving forward with Phase II. This next phase involves ramping up our solar infrastructure with the installation of a 2.1MW ground-mounted PV system at Dechencholing, Thimphu, a 1.5MW rooftop solar PV system at The Royal Academy in Pangbisa, Paro, and an additional 250 kW rooftop solar PV system at CFM, Thimphu. We've chosen the top-of-the-line 580Wp TopCon AE Solar panels for these installations due to their superior efficiency and cutting-edge technology.

To mark this milestone, we held an inaugural ceremony on 19 March 2024 for the installation of panels at Dechencholing and CFM. Dasho Bharat Tamang, Chairperson of DSP Solar Initiatives, led the event, joined by Col. Sisir Chetteri (De-suung HQ), the Project Implementation Team, Liaison Officer, and 44 De-suups.
