As we celebrate, the new year and mark DSP milestones, we would like to pay our humble tribute and heartfelt gratitude to His Majesty the King for his vision, guidance and support to making DSP a huge success.

We would also like to thank the Royal Government of Bhutan, the dedicated team of DSP trainers and all our mentors for their support and belief in the youth of Bhutan.

As we step into a new year, may we all embrace the spirit of renewal and purpose.

The De-suung Skilling Programme (DSP) is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kingston International College (KIC) and EducationPro Group Pty Ltd. (EP), both based in Perth, Western Australia. This historic partnership will mark the launch of the DSP Study Abroad Programme, a new initiative aimed at enhancing the employability of DSP graduates by equipping them with advanced skills and global exposure.

This programme will provide trainee graduates of the DSP with opportunities to pursue international training in Australia, furthering their skills in critical fields and exposing them to global best practices.

The DSP Study Abroad Programme is envisioned to serve as a platform to enhance the professional growth of De-suups and contribute to the development of Bhutan’s skilled workforce in the future.

Speaking on the occasion, Zimpon Wom Sonam Thinley, Executive Director of Skilling and Jobs, DSP remarked, "This partnership reflects our commitment to broadening horizons for our DSP graduates. By connecting them with globally recognized training opportunities, we aim to prepare De-suups to not only meet Bhutan’s workforce demands contributing towards development of Bhutan but also compete on an international stage ”

The Program is anticipated to be materialized by April, 2025! ✨

The 117th National Day was a momentous occasion, not only for all Bhutanese but also for the Desuung Skilling Programme. It was made even more special as our Steering Committee Member, Colonel Sirsir Chhetri, was awarded the Gold Medal for his honorable and dedicated service to the Nation.

We also extend our heartfelt congratulations to our esteemed trainers: Ms. Orawee Tadiang, widely known as Miss Kat, a talented dance instructor; Mr. Ugyen Deepak, Bhutan's renowned hairstylist & DSP instructor; and Ms. Charmi Chedda.
