Seven De-suups competed their "Intermediate Level" metal smith training working with silver at the Taba training center.
These De-suups were the top performers of the previous batches of basic metal smithing trainings.
They were trained by experts from the USA, Michael McRae and Jacob D. Morgan.
The students learned how to create stamps for their jewellery from a sixth generation Navajo Silversmith, Jacob D. Morgan. The two weeks course, materials and trainer was sponsored by the Rio Grande company in the USA.
With Michael McRae, the Desuups continued to work on honing their skills as they made necklaces, cuffs, rings and earrings in silver.
Their beautiful jewelry line will be on display and at Choe-go so
